Key Biscayne is a city in South Florida, located on a barrier island, accessible by land through Miami’s Rickenbacker Causeway. The city was built between two large areas of environmental conservation. Crandon Park is located north of Key Biscayne while Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park is located on the south of the island and is home to the Cape Florida Lighthouse, built in the 19th century.

The nature around the city is exuberant, with beautiful and protected beaches, mangroves and tropical forests that are home to rich fauna. There are several species of birds, in addition to butterflies, sea turtles and a multitude of other wildlife.

The small town of Key Biscayne, as it is known, is part of the metropolitan region of greater Miami, in Miami-Dade County. The city no longer has available area to grow, which contributed to maintaining the romantic small-town feel. With a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, the place delights everyone who visits it.
